With a thankful heart we think and remember of our spiritual teacher
Translation:
A great soul (mahatma) has passed. Though he has promised to be always
there for us, we will miss him a great deal. His teachings were to feel
and to live unity with atma (the individual divine soul) in every
moment. This is what Kriya-Yoga is about and what Paramapadma
Dhiranandaji used to live in any moment. Every illuminated being is
present in every human being as cosmic consciousness. Though Paramapadma
Dhiranandaji has left his physical body we will be connected with him
forever.
One of his main messages was: “Learn to accept!” In accepting we will
discover non-attachment. Flexibility is a spiritual virtue. There are
two more important things on our spiritual path, mentioned by Rishi
Patanjali in the Yogasutras as well as by Sri Krishna in the
Bhagavadgita: abhyasa (regular practice) and
vairagya (non-attachment).
Paramapadma Dhiranandaji often said: “Kriya-Yoga is just like being in a
boat rowing in the fog, keep rowing – some time you will reach the
divine shore.”
Let’s follow Dhiranandaji’s lifework by putting his message of Kriya-Yoga
into practice (according to the saying: one ounce of practice is better
than a ton of theory!)
